Okay, so, let me tell you about this TV show “Awake” that I’ve been watching. I finally got around to finishing it, and boy, was it a ride!
I started watching this show a while back, maybe a few months ago. I remember seeing it mentioned online, and the premise sounded really interesting. The idea of this cop living in two different realities after a car accident? I was hooked from the start!
So, I began watching the first few episodes. The show introduces this detective, Michael, who’s in a car crash with his wife and son. After the accident, he starts experiencing these two realities. In one, his wife survived the crash, and in the other, his son did. It’s like, every time he goes to sleep, he wakes up in a different reality. Pretty wild, right?
I kept watching, and the show got even more interesting. I mean the story of Awake is Michael trying to solve cases in both realities, and there are these little clues that connect the two. Plus, he’s trying to figure out what really happened with the accident. It’s like a puzzle, and I was trying to piece it all together along with him.
Then, I watched the last few episodes. I was really curious about how they were going to wrap up the story. Is one of the realities a dream? Is he going to have to choose between them? I noticed that if people don’t sleep, they’ll die, which means Michael will die in the end.
In the series finale, Michael gets shot, and he wakes up in a reality where both his wife and son are alive! I was like, “What? How is this possible?” I also noticed that there is a woman named Matilda who can fall asleep, but in the end of the film, she passed away, I think she was saved.
And then, the show ends. It’s kind of ambiguous, which I guess is cool in a way. It leaves you thinking and wondering what really happened. Did Michael actually die from the gunshot wound and was this last reality some kind of afterlife? Or was it all just a dream?
I finished watching the show, and I was just sitting there, thinking about everything. I even went online to see what other people thought about the ending. There are so many theories out there! Some people think he died, some think he’s still alive, and some think it was all just a very elaborate dream.

Honestly, I really enjoyed “Awake.” It was a well-made show, the acting was great, and the story was super engaging. The ending was a bit of a mind-bender, but I kind of like that.
