Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Anthony somethin’-or-other, Jeselnik, I think they call him. He’s comin’ to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and folks are all in a tizzy about it. Sounds like he’s a comedian, you know, tells jokes and such. I ain’t never heard of him myself, but the young’uns seem to like him.
Now, they’re sellin’ tickets to see him, and lemme tell ya, them tickets ain’t cheap! They say you gotta “buy guaranteed concert tickets,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but all I know is you gotta pay money to get in. And if you’re lookin’ for cheap tickets, well, good luck with that! They say you can find ’em cheaper somewhere, but I ain’t got no clue where to look. Them young’uns know all about it, with their “SeatGeek” and such. They say SeatGeek “handles the tickets so fans can fan.” I don’t know what that means either, just sounds like they sell ya the tickets.
This fella, Jeselnik, he’s gonna be at The Cove at River Spirit Casino Resort. That’s a fancy place, not like the old town hall where we used to have the square dances. They say he’s the “master of dark comedy,” whatever that is. Probably tells jokes about things we ain’t supposed to laugh at, I reckon. But hey, folks like what they like.
They say he’s got a “tour,” which means he goes around to different places tellin’ his jokes. And Tulsa’s one of them places. Lucky us, I guess. He’s gonna be here on January 27, 2024, so mark yer calendars if you’re interested. They say it’s gonna be an “unforgettable night of razor-sharp humor and fearless comedy.” Sounds like he ain’t afraid to say what’s on his mind, that’s for sure.
- If you wanna go, you gotta get them tickets fast, ’cause they say they’re sellin’ out quick. Limited time offer, they call it. Means you gotta hurry up and buy ’em before they’re all gone.
- And if you’re lookin’ for cheap tickets, well, they say you can sort ’em by price on that SeatGeek thing. They got some kinda “Deal Score” too, but I don’t know nothin’ about that.
- One fella even had a spare ticket ’cause his buddy couldn’t go. He was sellin’ it for Section 102, Row J. Don’t mean nothin’ to me, but maybe it means somethin’ to you.
So, there ya have it. Anthony Jeselnik, comin’ to Tulsa. If you like them comedians, you might wanna check him out. Me? I’ll probably just stay home and watch the chickens. At least they don’t charge me for laughin’ at ’em.
But remember, I’m just tellin’ ya what I heard. I ain’t never been to one of these fancy comedy shows before. But if you decide to go, have yerself a good time. And don’t forget to tell me all about it, so I can at least hear about it second hand.
It’s a funny thing, this world we live in. People payin’ good money to hear a fella tell jokes. Back in my day, we just told jokes around the fire, for free! But I guess that’s progress for ya. So if you like this Anthony Jeselnik fella, or if you’re just curious, go on and get them tickets. Just don’t spend all yer money on ’em, ’cause you still gotta eat, you know.
And one last thing, they say he’s got shows all over the place, not just in Tulsa. So if you can’t make it to the Tulsa show, maybe he’s comin’ to a town near you. Laughter is the best medicine, they say, so maybe this fella Jeselnik can do us all some good.
