Okay, so the other day I was trying to find some movies that gave me the same vibe as “Air Force One.” You know, that classic with Harrison Ford kicking butt on a plane? I wanted more of that high-stakes, presidential-level action.
First, I fired up my laptop and opened my trusty web browser.
My Search Begins
I typed in “movies like Air Force One” into the search bar and hit enter. The results were, well, a mixed bag. It was a mess, some were totally off, but it gave me a starting point.

I started to copy and paste the movie information I found useful into my notes.
Making Some Lists
I decided I needed to be more systematic, So I made a few categories.
- Plane-Based Thrillers: For that claustrophobic, high-altitude action.
- President in Peril: Focusing on movies where the POTUS is in danger.
- Terrorist Action: Movies with the similar political statement or terrorist.
I began going through the initial list and slotting movies into these categories. This helped me narrow things down and figure out what exactly I was looking for.
Watching Some Trailers
For the movies that sounded promising, I found their trailers online. I have to say, watching a two-minute trailer can tell you a lot more than a paragraph description! I watched a bunch of these to get a feel for the movie’s tone, action, and overall quality.
Finally Success
After all that searching, categorizing, and trailer-watching, I ended up with a solid list of movies to check out. I already have some of them. It was a bit of a process, but hey, finding the perfect movie night lineup is serious business!
