Okay, so the other day, I was on a total rom-com kick. I re-watched “Ever After,” and it got me thinking, what other movies give off that same vibe? You know, that blend of historical-ish setting, romance, a strong female lead, and just a touch of magic? So I started digging.
My “Movies Like Ever After” Hunt
First, I jumped onto Google, of course. Just typed in “movies similar to ever after” and browsed through some initial results. I jotting down titles that seemed promising on a piece of paper.
Then, I decided to get a little more specific. I started thinking about what exactly I loved about “Ever After.” It’s not just the romance, it’s the whole Cinderella-but-cooler thing, the Renaissance-ish setting, and Drew Barrymore being awesome. So, I refined my searches, using phrases like:
