The really tricky part was figuring out if it was intentional or just my own messed-up interpretation.
I went back to some of the movies I’d initially thought of, and I started paying super close attention to the dialogue, the camera angles, the music… you know, all the subtle stuff. I even re-read some online reviews, looking for clues that other viewers had picked up on anything similar.
