Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with “Geek Girl” on Netflix lately. The fashion, the awkwardness, the London vibes… I needed to know where they filmed it! So, I went down a rabbit hole, and I’m here to spill all the tea on my little location-hunting adventure.
First, I rewatched a bunch of episodes, pausing like a maniac whenever I saw a recognizable place. It was fun like play the detective! I started writing down the most viewable places, making notes of any street signs, shop names, or just general vibes I could pick up.
Then, I jumped onto Google Street View. Seriously, this thing is a lifesaver! I started “walking” around the areas I suspected, trying to match what I saw on screen with the real-life locations. It felt like a virtual scavenger hunt, I was geting so excited!

- I checked out areas around Covent Garden. A lot of shows and movies film around that area, for a good reason!
- Also looked into South Bank. Figured with all the cool buildings and stuff, they might have filmed there.
I also scoured some online forums and fan groups. You know, those places where people dissect every single frame of a show? Turns out, some super-fans had already done some serious digging!
I compared my little list with other super-fans, then get more hints.
My “Geek Girl” Filming Location Results:
After all this, I’m feeling pretty good about my list! Of course, some locations are probably private residences or sets built specifically for the show, but I think I got a pretty good handle on the main spots.
It takes me many hours to get all the locations I want. I feel very exciting to share my locations list to my blog!
It’s just so cool to see the places from the show in “real life,” even if it’s just on my computer screen. Now I want to plan a trip to London, of cause, to visit all the place in “Geek Girl”!
