Okay, so the other day I was in the mood for a good rom-com, and “Love, Rosie” popped into my head. Such a classic, right? But I’d seen it a million times already. So, I decided to find some movies that were similar. Here’s how I did it:
My Quest for Similar Movies
First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up my browser. Gotta start somewhere, am I right?
Then I typed “movies like Love, Rosie” into the search bar. Simple as that!

The search engine did its thing, and boom! Tons of websites popped up with lists and suggestions. I started clicking on a few that looked promising.
- I looked for websites that seemed to be dedicated to movies, not just random blogs.
- I paid attention to the reasons why they were suggesting certain movies. Did they mention the “friends-to-lovers” trope? The “missed connections” theme? Those were the details I was looking for.
I started making a list of the movies that kept coming up. You know, the ones that multiple sites were recommending. Some of the names that appeared are:
- One Day
- Stuck in Love
- What if
I then checked out trailer for each of the movies, which, honestly, helps a lot to see if it is what I expect.
Finally, I picked one that gave me the similar vibe and story as Love Rosie and that was “One Day”.
I ended up finding some pretty good options. It’s always fun to discover new movies, especially when they remind you of old favorites.
Mission accomplished! Now I have a bunch of movies to watch that might just become new favorites.
