Okay, so the other day I was really in the mood for a good, heartfelt romantic movie, something like “Stuck in Love.” You know, the kind with complicated relationships, a bit of drama, and a lot of feels. But I’d already watched “Stuck in Love” like a million times. So, I decided to find some similar movies.
The Hunt Begins
First, I just opened up my go-to movie streaming service, you know. I typed “Stuck in Love” in the search bar, mostly to see what its “related titles” section would spit out.
The suggestions were… okay. There were a few I’d seen, a few that looked way too cheesy, and a few that didn’t seem to fit the vibe at all.

Digging Deeper
So, I decided I needed a more, shall we say, human approach.
I opened a new tab on my laptop.
I went to Google, and literally typed “movies like stuck in love reddit”. I figured, who better to ask than the internet’s hive mind?
This was way better! I found a bunch of Reddit threads where people were asking the exact same question. Score! I started making a list, jotting down the titles that kept popping up.
- The Spectacular Now
- Perks of Being a Wallflower
- Like Crazy
- 500 Days of Summer
Making My Choices
I looked up trailers for each of the movies on my list. Some of them, I could tell right away weren’t quite what I was looking for. Too much comedy, or too much teen angst.
I narrowed it down to two: “The Spectacular Now,”and “Like Crazy”.
Both of them seemed to have that blend of romance, drama, and complex characters that I loved about “Stuck in Love.”
The Result
I ended up watching “The Spectacular Now” first, and it was pretty good.
It definitely hit the spot! Then I watched “Like Crazy,”It’s great, too!
I’ve got a few more on my list to check out later, but for now, I’m satisfied. Mission accomplished!
