Okay, so I’ve been on this huge mecha anime kick lately, and I stumbled upon “Knights and Magic”. It was pretty cool, but it got me thinking, what else is out there that’s similar? I mean, I loved the whole reincarnation, magic, and giant robots thing. So I decided to do some digging.
My Search Begins
First, I just started with some basic searches. You know, typing in stuff like “anime like Knights and Magic” into the search bar. I got a bunch of forum posts and lists, which was a good starting point.
I skimmed through a few of those lists, jotting down the names of any anime that sounded interesting. I was mostly looking for that same mix of fantasy, mecha, and maybe some isekai (that whole “transported to another world” thing).
Filtering Through Recommendations
After I had a decent list, I started to look into each anime individually. I read some summaries, watched a few trailers, and even checked out some reviews to get a feel for what each one was about.
- Some of them were too heavy on the fantasy and didn’t have enough mecha.
- Others were the opposite – all robots, no magic.
- A few seemed promising, though, with that perfect blend I was craving.
Making My Watchlist
Based on my research, I narrowed down my list to a few anime that I thought I’d really enjoy. I made notes on what I liked in each of the anime.I’m pretty excited to dive into these and see if they can scratch that “Knights and Magic” itch!
So that’s basically how I went about finding some anime similar to “Knights and Magic”. It wasn’t a super scientific process or anything, just some good old-fashioned internet searching and a bit of trial and error. Hopefully, my efforts will pay off, and I’ll find some new favorite shows!
