Okay, so the other day I was trying to find some movies similar to “Fantastic Planet”. I’m a huge fan of that weird, surreal animation style and the trippy story. Here’s how I went about finding some recommendations:
Started with the Obvious
First, I typed “movies like Fantastic Planet” into a search engine. I know, groundbreaking, right? I just wanted a quick starting point.
Sifting Through Results
I got a bunch of results, some were helpful, some were…not so much. I skipped over anything that looked too mainstream or modern. I’m looking for that older, hand-drawn, artsy vibe, you know?
Making Notes
- I saw a few recurring titles.
- I started writing movie names that had promising descriptions.
- I jotted down notes about each one, like the animation style and the general plot.
Digging Deeper
For the movies that sounded most promising, I did some more specific searches. I looked for reviews and forum discussions to get a better feel for them. I wanted to know if they really captured that same “Fantastic Planet” magic.
I also checked to see where I could watch them. I mean there is no use knowing about movies without seeing them!
The Final List (So Far!)
It’s still a work in progress.I got a few solid contenders. Gonna watch them and find the best.
