Okay, so I was trying to find some movies similar to “Couples Retreat,” you know? That movie is hilarious, and I was in the mood for something just like it. So I started digging around.
My Search Begins
First, I fired up my computer. I just went straight to that popular search engine we all use. I typed in “movies like Couples Retreat” and hit enter. I mean, that’s the obvious first step, right?
I got a ton of results, of course. Lots of websites listing similar movies, some I’d seen, some I hadn’t. I started opening a bunch of these pages in new tabs – I always do that, my browser ends up with like a million tabs open.
Narrowing It Down
I started skimming through the lists. A lot of them were mentioning the usual suspects, like “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “The Hangover”. I’ve seen those a bunch of times, so I was looking for something a little less obvious.
I made a list of the movies that sounded interesting, or that I hadn’t heard of before. Some of them sounded okay, others, not so much. It’s always a bit of a gamble, isn’t it?
