Okay, so I’ve been on this quest to find movies that give me the same warm, fuzzy, and slightly chaotic feeling as “The Wedding Date.” You know, that whole fake-relationship-turns-real-love thing? It’s my guilty pleasure, I admit it!
First, I hit up my go-to streaming services. I typed in “romantic comedies” and “wedding movies,” but honestly, it was a bit of a mess. So many options, and most of them looked… well, not great.
So I decided I should get a bit smarter. I opened up my browser, and I started googling things like “movies similar to The Wedding Date”, and stuff. That was a bit better!
I made a list of the ones that came up again, and I mean the titles that I saw more than a few times.
My Watchlist Started to Take Shape
- 27 Dresses: Totally about weddings, and the leading lady being always the bridesmaid. Should be fun.
- The Proposal: I’ve seen some clips from that one, Sandra Bullock, right?
- Made of Honor:This sounds promising.
I went to a friend, you know, that friend who has watched way too many films, she confirmed some of my options and added a few more.
Then I started to watch the trailers, the ones that made me laugh or go, “Aww,” got bumped to the top of the list.
So, I made some popcorn, I got cozy on the couch, and start my movie marathon.!
