Okay, so the other day I was feeling super nostalgic and wanted to watch something like “Hercules,” you know, that classic Disney animated movie? But I’d seen it a million times, so I needed something new, but with the same vibe. Here’s how I went about finding some good alternatives.

First, I thought about why I loved “Hercules” so much. It wasn’t just the Greek mythology part, but also:

- The hero’s journey: A nobody becoming a somebody, classic stuff.

I started my search super broad. I just typed something like “movies with mythology” into a search bar. I quickly realized I needed to be more specific, otherwise I’d be scrolling for days. Then I narrowed it down by adding “animated” and “family-friendly” to my search.

I refined my search, adding things like, “Movies like hercules disney”, I Found Some Decent Options like below:
- Someone recommended “The Road to El Dorado”. I gave that a shot, I thought the music great and friends are very funny.
- Also Someone talked about “Atlantis: The Lost Empire”, I don’t think Atlantis is my type of movie, but It is good for sombody who are looking for disney movies.
- The other option is “Mulan”, I am pretty sure that everyone love Mulan! It is a classic movie and songs is pretty good.
