Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with something I saw online – combining some stuff from Grant Hardin and James Appleton. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure what to expect, but I was in the mood to tinker.
Getting Started
First, I needed to find some resources. I did some digging and found a few things related to both names. It seemed like Grant Hardin had some interesting projects, and James Appleton had some cool design stuff. My goal was to take a little inspiration from both and see if I could blend them together in some way.
The Process
I started by looking at some of Grant Hardin’s work. I found some really awesome…well, I don’t even know what to call it, but it looked like he was really into creative coding. Then I jumped over to James Appleton’s stuff. His designs were super clean and modern, so I made some notes about the color palettes and layouts he used.

After I had a bunch of random notes and sketches, I started to brainstorm. I thought, “What if I tried to make something interactive that had the visual style of Appleton but with the kind of dynamic feel of Hardin’s work?”
I spent a good chunk of the day just experimenting. Let’s just say that lots of trail and error here, some failed and some works.
Wrapping Up
So, did I create a masterpiece? Nope! But I did learn a lot, and it was a fun way to spend a day. I think I might try this again with some other creators I admire. It’s a good way to push myself to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. I got many unexpected experiences that I will remember.
