Loved Khufiya? Here Are Similar Spy Movies to Binge

Yesterday, my buddy texted me and asked if I had watched “Khufiya” on Netflix. He knows I’m a sucker for spy thrillers, so he figured it’d be right up my alley. I hadn’t, but I made a mental note to check it out later.

Later that night, after settling in, I fired up Netflix and watched it. It’s good. So I wanted to find more movies like “Khufiya”, you know, to keep the adrenaline pumping. So, I grabbed my laptop and started searching.

First, I just typed “movies like Khufiya” into Google. The search results were okay. Scrolling through, I jotted down a few titles that sounded interesting. I also checked out some related articles and blog posts that popped up, just to get a broader sense of what’s out there in the spy thriller world.

Then I thought, why not hit up some forums and see what other movie buffs are saying? I browsed through a couple of subreddits dedicated to movies and found some good threads discussing spy thrillers. People were throwing around recommendations, and I made sure to note down the ones that came up often.

After that, I decided to check out some movie review sites. I trust these professional reviews when picking something to watch. I looked for their lists of top spy thrillers and added a few more titles to my growing list. Some movies appeared on multiple lists, so I figured they must be worth checking out.

Feeling pretty good about my list, I created a simple text document on my computer to keep track of everything. I organized the titles into different categories, like “must-watch,” “maybe,” and “if I have time.” I also added some brief notes about each movie, like the director, main actors, and a short plot summary, just to refresh my memory later.

Here’s What I Found

  • “Raazi” – This one kept popping up in my searches. It’s an Indian spy thriller based on a true story. People praised its intense plot and strong performances. Definitely going on the “must-watch” list.
  • “The Family Man” – Okay, this one’s actually a TV series, but it came highly recommended. It’s about an Indian intelligence officer who’s trying to balance his family life with his dangerous job. Sounds intriguing!
  • “Mission: Impossible” – It is such a classic, and I am very familiar with this movie. This series is always good for a dose of action-packed spy adventures.
  • “Baby” – This movie sounds so intense. It follows an elite Indian counter-intelligence unit as they race against time to stop a terrorist attack.
  • “D-Day” – This one’s about a group of RAW agents sent to capture India’s most wanted criminal. It was highly praised for its realistic portrayal of espionage.

I have a pretty solid list of spy thrillers to watch now. I might even have a movie marathon this weekend and binge-watch a few of them. I’m excited to see how they compare to “Khufiya” and hopefully discover some new favorites along the way.
