Okay, so I wanted to watch this show called “Shining Vale”. I’d heard some good things, and it’s got Courteney Cox in it, so I started to check it out.
I watched the first episode, and at first, I was like, “What’s going on?” This family, the Phelps, they moved from Brooklyn to this big old house in Connecticut. It’s supposed to be a fresh start or something.
- I saw that Pat, the mom, she’s a writer, and she’s having a hard time.
- Then there’s Terry, the dad, played by Greg Kinnear. I love him!
- They’ve got these two kids, and the whole family is just a mess.
I continued watching, and things started to get really weird. Like, Pat started seeing things, this ghost lady named Rosemary. Is she real? Is Pat losing it? I don’t know, but it’s getting freaky.
Then, I watched season one all the way through, and at the end, there’s this big thing with Pat and a squirrel, and she’s trying to get rid of Rosemary. It’s wild.
So I jumped into season two. And let me tell you, it’s a rollercoaster. Pat’s book became a hit. It’s all success and good vibes… Or is it? I kept watching and found out Pat’s asking to be taken to some asylum in episode 2. I was like, “What is happening?!” And by the time I finished season two, they dropped this huge bomb about Terry. It was like, mind blown. I won’t spoil it for you, but it was crazy.
After I finished watching both seasons, I read up a little bit online. I guess people think it’s a pretty good show, but some say it’s nothing new. I don’t care, though. I had a good time. Courteney Cox is amazing, by the way. She’s hilarious. But seriously, the ending of season two is so surprising!
So yeah, that’s what I did. I watched “Shining Vale,” and it was a wild ride. I am happy that I finally got the time to finish this show, and I enjoyed every single episode.
