Okay, so, like, a few days ago, I got it into my head that I just had to watch “Inside Out 2.” I mean, the first one was a total blast, right? All those emotions running around in Riley’s head, it was just so relatable. And the sequel? It’s all about her hitting those teenage years, which, let me tell you, is a whole other can of worms.
So, first thing I did, I started digging around online, looking for any scraps of info I could find. Turns out, there are these new emotions joining the party in Riley’s head. We’ve got Anxiety, which, yeah, makes total sense. Then there’s Embarrassment, oh boy, haven’t we all been there? And get this, Envy and Ennui are in the mix too. Ennui is basically just being totally bored out of your mind. I was like, “Whoa, this is getting deep.”
Then, I found out that the whole story happens during a hockey camp. Now, if you saw the first movie, you know that hockey is a big deal for Riley. It’s like her thing. So, finding that out, I was even more pumped.
I read on that Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are still in there. And there’s this part where Joy lets Sadness take over. I have no idea what that’s all about, but it got me super curious.
The trailer I watched dropped a hint of this, showing the others telling Joy to fix a problem, but then Joy hands it over to Sadness. This seemed like a big deal, so I knew I had to see the movie to understand what was going on.
Anyway, after all that research, I’m like, “I gotta see this movie.” It’s not just about the laughs anymore; it’s about, like, understanding what makes us tick, you know? Those little voices in our heads, they’re the ones calling the shots. It is so interesting!
So that’s my little adventure with “Inside Out 2” so far. I haven’t even seen the full movie yet, but I’m already hooked. Just had to share my excitement with you all. Stay tuned, ’cause I’ll definitely be back with a full report after I finally get to watch it!
