Okay, so the other day I was scrolling through my usual movie sites, trying to find something decent to watch, you know? And I’ve seen “Jumanji: The Next Level” a couple of times already, but it got me thinking – what else is out there that’s kind of like it? You know, fun, adventurous, maybe a little silly. So I started digging.
First, I checked out some reviews of “Jumanji: The Next Level” just to refresh my memory. I remembered it being pretty funny, especially with The Rock and Kevin Hart, those guys are a riot. And Jack Black, don’t even get me started, he’s hilarious. I also saw that they’re making another Jumanji movie, supposed to come out in 2026, which is awesome! But that’s a long wait, so I needed something to tide me over.
Then I started thinking about what I liked about “Jumanji: The Next Level”. It’s not as good as the first one, sure, but it’s still got that adventure vibe, you know? They get sucked into a game, have to complete missions, fight bad guys, the usual stuff. And it’s not super serious, it’s got a good sense of humor.
So, I started searching for movies with similar themes. I typed in stuff like “movies like Jumanji” or “funny adventure movies”. I came across this one called “Zathura: A Space Adventure”, which I guess is kind of a spin-off or something from the original Jumanji book.
I also found some suggestions for TV shows. There’s this one called “Galavant” that someone said was kind of like a light-hearted adventure, with a hero and a squire and all that. Sounds interesting, might have to check that out.
But mostly, I just kept digging through forums and articles. It’s cool to see what other people come up with, you know? Everyone’s got their own favorites.
Anyway, I ended up with a pretty decent list of stuff to watch. I figure I’ll start with “Zathura” and see how that goes. If it’s good, maybe I’ll check out some of the other suggestions.
