Okay, so let’s talk about “Them” episode 2, “The Devil Himself Visited This Place”.
I started watching it, and man, things are getting intense. This family, they’re new in town, and the whole neighborhood is basically trying to run them out. It’s messed up. They call this part “DAY 3”.
Then, I saw this scene at the school. Kelvin, he’s chilling under the bleachers, smoking with another Black girl. It’s like, even the kids are dealing with this stuff.
Checked the details for this episode, apparently, it aired on April 25, 2024. The title, “The Devil Himself Visited This Place”, that’s heavy. Dawn, she’s digging into things, making some crazy discovery. And Kelvin, he wakes up to some weird broadcast. The whole thing just feels really off. Also, I found the names of some actors from the show: Deborah Ayorinde and Pam Grier. I added them to the cast of the show in my personal notes.
I gotta say, this show is hitting hard on racism and the feeling of being abandoned. It’s a horror story, but it’s also really sad. These are important issues, but I’m not sure they’re mixing well in the show.
