My Demon Ep 12 Recap: Lets Break Down the Key Scenes and Plot Points Now.

Okay, so I watched episode 12 of “My Demon” last night, and wow, what a ride! I needed to write this down and get it out of my system. I grabbed my laptop, and opened my note app.

It all started with Gu-won, you know, the demon, having a major think about fate and stuff. He’s wondering if our lives are already written out for us, or if we can actually change things. Heavy, right? I paused to think about it for a few minutes, too.

Then, I continued watching it. The episode shifted to this dream sequence thing. Showing Gu-won’s past life. Turns out, he and Do-hee have this super tragic connection from way back when. It’s seriously messed up. I replayed this part because I just missed some details and wanted to get everything clear.

My Demon Ep 12 Recap: Lets Break Down the Key Scenes and Plot Points Now.
  • It showed Gu-won as a guy named Yi Sun, and Do-hee was this dancer, Wol Sim. They were in love, but it was during the Joseon era, so everything was super strict and complicated.
  • Wol Sim ended up being a scapegoat. Her connection with Yi Sun caused her death. The pressure in the politics at that time was insane.
  • Yi Sun was left all alone, full of guilt. It’s so sad, I almost cried. I mean, imagine living with that for centuries!

After that, in the present day, Gu-won and Do-hee heard about a death, which made them even more suspicious of the Noh family. And, oh boy, that family is messed up! I googled some discussion in the community. Some guys are talking about the demon will change Do-hee or fall first. And it reminded me of the question Gu-won questioned his own fate.

Later, Do-hee found out that Suk-min, that creepy guy, was behind the deaths of Madam Ju and Do-gyeong. I knew it! But then Suk-min dropped this bomb that Madam Ju wasn’t the saint Do-hee thought she was. He even played this old audio recording where Madam Ju admitted to causing the accident that killed Do-hee’s parents. My jaw literally dropped. I pressed pause again, needed a moment to process that.

My Thoughts

This episode was a rollercoaster. I went from feeling for Gu-won to being shocked by all the revelations about Madam Ju and Suk-min. It makes you wonder who the real demons are, you know? I finished the whole episode in one breath. I just couldn’t stop. I’m already itching for the next episode. What’s going to happen to Gu-won and Do-hee? Will they break free from their tragic past, or is it all just going to repeat itself? I need answers! I shared this recap with my friend, and she had the same thought as me!

Anyway, I just had to share all of this. If you’re watching “My Demon,” let me know what you think!
