Well, well, well, this here story about that Ward D place, it’s a real head-scratcher, ain’t it? That gal, Amy, she’s stuck in that crazy house overnight. Lordy, just thinkin’ about it gives me the shivers. That Ward D ending explained, you see, it’s got more twists and turns than a snake in a rabbit hole.

So, Amy, she’s a student, learnin’ to be a doctor and all that fancy stuff. But she’s gotta spend a night in this loony bin, Ward D. Sounds like a barrel of laughs, right? Now, this whole thing, it’s like a dang puzzle. This Will fella, Amy thinks he’s up to no good, hidin’ his pills and all. She thinks he’s Jade’s boyfriend, but then he says he’s some kinda reporter, snoopin’ around Ward D. Then they say he killed some gal named Mary. It’s all a big mess, I tell ya. He’s like a friend and a bad guy all rolled into one. Who can you trust in a place like that?

This Ward D, it’s in some place called Long Island. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t nothin’ but a spooky old nut house. Amy, she’s stuck there, gotta learn about crazy folks, I reckon. It is a spooky setting for sure. I would not want to be there.

Then they talk about this Carpenter gal, died a couple years back from takin’ too many pills. She and somebody else, they was plannin’ to bust outta Ward D. They went and killed that Dr. Beck and some gal named Ramona. And get this, that “Ramona” ain’t even Ramona. It’s some other patient named Nicole. Mary, another one of them crazy folks, she thought Amy was Nicole. Lord have mercy, it’s a tangled-up web they weave in that place!

That Will guy, he says he’s just pretendin’ to be crazy to get in that Ward D and check things out. He is a reporter, you know. Says folks ain’t gettin’ treated right in there. Sounds like a hero, but then again, who knows in that crazy place?
