- And if you like the idea of a gal finding love when she least expects it, you might wanna try “The Back-Up Plan.” This one’s about a woman who decides to have a baby on her own, but then, wouldn’t you know it, she meets a fella right after. It’s all about how love can mess with your plans in the best way possible.
Now, some folks say “Maid in Manhattan” is based on a true story. Apparently, some rich fella married a maid way back when. I don’t know nothin’ about that, but it sure makes the movie even more special, don’t it? And that pink dress * wears? Folks say it’s a real vintage dress, from the 1950s. Makes ya think, huh? These stories, they ain’t always just make-believe.
They say that Ralph Fiennes, the fella who plays the rich guy in “Maid in Manhattan,” wasn’t too sure about the movie at first. Said it wasn’t really his kinda thing.
