Alright, let’s talk about this “Revenge of Others” thing, the ending, you know? I watched it, and lemme tell ya, it was somethin’ else. Lots of drama, lots of fightin’, just like them kids in my village when they get riled up over a piece of candy.
So, this whole story starts with this girl, Ok Chan Mi. Poor thing, her twin brother dies. Died suddenly, you know? Real sad. She’s all upset, like any sister would be, wouldn’t she? And she wants to know what happened. Who did it? Why? Just like when my prize-winning rooster disappeared last summer, I wanted to find the fox who took him.
- First off, we got this Ok Chan Mi. She’s tough, I tell ya. Not afraid to go after what she wants. Reminds me of myself when I chased that stray dog outta my garden with a broom.
- Then there’s this Ji Soo Heon. He’s mixed up in it too. Help in’ the bullied kids, they say. Good boy, I guess, standin’ up for the little guys. Kinda like my old man, always protectin’ the village from them city slickers.
So, Chan Mi, she starts diggin’ around, askin’ questions. She meets up with Soo Heon, and they team up, kinda. They’re both lookin’ for answers, but their paths ain’t exactly the same at first. It’s like when you’re tryin’ to catch a chicken, you and your neighbor might be chasin’ it from different sides, but you both want the same thing, that chicken for dinner.
The whole thing is about bullying, you see. Kids bein’ mean to other kids. Breaks your heart, it does. Makes me wanna give them bullies a good whack with my slipper. This show, it shows you how bad it can get, how much it can hurt. Just like when that big ol’ cow stepped on my foot last week, the pain lingers, you know?
Now, there’s this Jae-bum fella. He’s trouble, I tell ya. Mean as a snake. And Won-seok, he’s another one. They’re all tangled up in this mess. It’s like a bunch of tangled yarn, you gotta pull at it to figure out where it all goes. And that girl, Tae So-yeon with the white hair? She’s in there too, helpin’ out the bullied kids. She’s seen some things, that one. Her past, they say, is real tragic. Reminds me of old Mrs. Henderson, always sad eyes and a heavy heart.
The endin’, well, it’s somethin’. Jae-bum, he throws Won-seok out a window. Can you believe it? Out a window! Just like that. And Won-seok, he falls. Don’t know if he lived or died, they don’t exactly spell it out, but it sure looks bad. Reminds me of that time the wind blew the barn door right off its hinges, crashin’ down with a terrible thud.
And Soo Heon, he gets a text from Chan-mi. Right there at the school. Don’t know what the text said, but it’s gotta be important, right? Maybe she figured somethin’ out. Maybe she knows the whole truth. It’s like when you get a letter from the city, you know it’s gonna be somethin’ big, good or bad.
So, did they get revenge? Did they find out who really killed Chan Mi’s brother? Well, kinda. They definitely stirred up a whole lotta trouble, that’s for sure. And they made some folks pay, one way or another. But it ain’t a clean, happy endin’, you know? It’s messy, like life. Just like when you’re cleanin’ out the chicken coop, you get feathers and dirt everywhere, it’s a whole big mess before it gets clean. Revenge, it ain’t always what you think it’s gonna be.
This “Revenge of Others,” it’s a story about hurt and anger and findin’ justice, I guess. But it also shows you that revenge ain’t easy. It leaves scars. It changes people. Just like that big storm we had last year, it changed the whole landscape, left its mark on everything.
If you ask me, these kids, they went through a lot. Too much, maybe. Hope they find some peace after all that. Peace, that’s what we all need in the end, ain’t it? Like a warm cup of tea on a cold night, peace settles your soul.
This show, it made me think. Made me think about how we treat each other, about right and wrong, about standin’ up for what’s right. Even an old woman like me can learn a thing or two from these young folks. It reminds me of the old days, when the community looked after each other. Now everyone is too busy to even notice their neighbor is hurting.
So, that’s the endin’ of “Revenge of Others”, or at least, that’s how I saw it. A whole lotta drama, a whole lotta hurt, and a little bit of hope, maybe. Just like life, I reckon. Just like life.
