Alright, let’s talk about this 54 Thrones thing, you know, the one they had on that Shark Tank show. I watched it, yeah, with my old TV, the picture ain’t so good but I saw it.
So, this woman, Christina, she comes on, talking about her fancy creams and lotions. African stuff, she says. Sounded kinda nice, you know, like them herbs my grandma used to use. She wanted money, lots of it, from them Shark people.
One of them Sharks, Nirav, he liked it. He gave her the money, a whole bunch, for a little piece of her company. Smart man, maybe. Or maybe not, who knows with these city folks?
- They say her stuff is real good. Makes your skin soft, like a baby’s butt, they say.
- They sell it in big stores now, Sephora, Credo, places I never been to. Too fancy for me, I stick to my drugstore stuff.
Now, they say the company is worth a lot of money, millions they say. That’s more money than I ever seen in my life. Guess that Nirav fella knew what he was doing, huh?
But let me tell you something, all this fancy talk, it don’t mean much to me. Does the cream work? That’s what matters. And is it worth the money? Cause some of these things, they charge you an arm and a leg, and for what? A little bit of smell-good stuff? I can make my own smell-good stuff with flowers from my garden, thank you very much.
The Shark Tank Effect, they call it. You go on that show, people see you, they buy your stuff. It’s like magic, I guess. But it ain’t magic, it’s hard work. Christina, she worked hard, I bet. She had to, to get all that money and get her stuff in all them stores.
And this Sephora program, they took her in again, to help her some more. Sounds like a good deal for her. Mentoring, they call it. Teaching her how to be even more fancy, I suppose. Good for her, I say. Everyone deserves a chance to make something of themselves, even if it’s just selling fancy creams.
They say she sold a million dollars worth of stuff in 2021. That’s a lot of creams and lotions. And now, in 2023, she’s in even more stores. Over a hundred of them, they say. She must be doing something right, that Christina.
So, where is this 54 Thrones company? Somewhere in Texas, they say. Holcombe Boulevard, somethin’ somethin’. Never been there. Probably too busy with all them fancy folks and their fancy creams.
And who gave her money besides that Nirav fella? Kevin O’Leary, that other Shark, and Sephora too. Seems like a lot of people believe in her, and in her African beauty stuff.
Now they say the company is worth almost two million dollars in 2024, that’s a lot more than what she was asking for at the first! That’s good growing if you ask me. I think if this lady can keep up this pace she will be a really strong business.
Well, that’s all I know about this 54 Thrones Shark Tank update. A woman with a dream, some fancy creams, and a whole lot of money. Good for her, I say. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go put some of my own cream on my hands. It ain’t African, but it works just fine for me.
Honestly, all these creams and lotions sound a little too fancy. Back in my day we just used regular soap, and everyone’s skin looked just fine. But things change, I guess. People want to smell good and look young, and if some fancy cream can do it for them, then who am I to judge. I still don’t know if I would pay for a cream if I can make one with the plants in my yard.
But this whole shark tank thing seems like a good thing, I mean, people get money to grow their business and make more products. It’s a good system, I guess. I am just glad that lady got help to make her dreams come true, everyone deserves a chance to make a living and be happy.
