Alright, so you young folks been watchin’ that Devil in Ohio show, huh? Scared the bejesus outta ya, did it? Well, let me tell ya, that ain’t the only thing out there that’ll make your hair stand on end. If you liked that, you might like some other shows too. They got all sorts of spooky stuff on that there Netflix, and I’m gonna tell ya ’bout some of ’em.

Anyway, it’s about this family livin’ in a big ol’ house, and let me tell ya, that house is plumb full of ghosts. Not the friendly kind neither. These ghosts are mean, and they like to mess with folks’ heads. Lots of jump scares and spooky noises. Keeps ya on the edge of your seat, that’s for sure.
Then there’s this show called Servant. Now this one’s a bit different. It’s more about the creepy people than the creepy ghosts, though there might be some of them too, I ain’t quite sure. It’s about this couple who hires a nanny, and well, she ain’t quite right in the head. Strange things start happenin’, and you just know somethin’ ain’t right. It’s the kind of show that makes you feel uneasy, like somethin’ bad is about to happen any minute.

- Kept me up at night, had to leave the lights on.
Now, I ain’t gonna spoil nothin’ for ya. You gotta watch ’em yourself to see what I mean. But if you liked Devil in Ohio, I reckon you’ll like these too. They got that same kinda spooky vibe, that same kinda “what’s gonna happen next?” feelin’. And that’s what makes a good scary show, ain’t it?
Folks keep askin’ if there’s gonna be another season of that Devil in Ohio. Well, from what I hear, it ain’t likely. Seems like it was just supposed to be one of them short little stories. The lady who wrote the book, she said it’s supposed to end the same way the book did. So, don’t hold your breath waitin’ for more. That’s why you gotta find yourself some new shows to watch, somethin’ to keep ya entertained when the nights get long and dark.
There’s plenty more shows out there, I’m sure. These streaming services, they got more shows than you can shake a stick at. But these two, The Haunting of Hill House and Servant, they’re a good place to start. They’ll give you that same creepy feelin’ you got from Devil in Ohio. And who knows, maybe you’ll find somethin’ even scarier. Just don’t come cryin’ to me when you can’t sleep at night!
