Well now, let me tell you, this movie, “They Cloned Tyrone,” sure is somethin’ else. It’s one of them films that makes you scratch your head a bit, but you can’t stop watchin’. I don’t know how they did it, but it sure keeps you on the edge of your seat, all mysterious-like, with twists and turns, just like one of them detective stories my old man used to love. You know, I reckon if you like films with a whole lot of mystery and somethin’ strange goin’ on, this here is the kind of flick you’d be into.
Now, the actin’ in this movie, well, I gotta say, them folks do a fine job. Jamie Foxx, John Boyega, and Teyonah Parris, they all carry the show, look like they was made for them parts. It’s not like some of them other movies where the characters ain’t got no real spark between ’em. Oh no, these three got a real good chemistry goin’ on, you can tell they work well together. They got most of the screen time, too, and it don’t get old. You’re watchin’ them and wonderin’ what they gonna do next, ’cause they make every minute count. Ain’t no wasted time when these folks are around, lemme tell ya.
Now, the story, it’s somethin’ different, you know? Starts out all mysterious like, and you ain’t really sure what’s goin’ on. But that’s part of the fun. It’s like one of them old-school stories, but with a modern twist. The movie is payin’ tribute to them Blaxploitation films from way back in the 70s. Y’know, them films with big personalities and a little bit of grit to ’em. They got that grainy film look, just like them old movies, and it really adds to the feel of it. It’s almost like you’re sittin’ there in a time machine, watchin’ the past come to life right before your eyes. It’s got a little bit of everything – mystery, horror, some sci-fi, and even some of them funny moments that make you chuckle.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s some strange parts to this movie, too. You’re watchin’ it and you might be wonderin’, “What in tarnation is goin’ on here?” But it all comes together, eventually. They got this villain, right? And turns out, it’s an older version of Fontaine, the same Fontaine you been followin’ from the start. It’s wild. The good news is that Fontaine, the real one, he ain’t gonna let the evil version get away with nothin’. So, they got themselves a happy ending, in a way. Yo-Yo, Slick, and Fontaine, they break all them clones free, and you can’t help but feel good for ’em, seein’ ’em win after all they been through.
One thing you might notice, though, is how they add that grainy effect to the film. You know, that real old-school look, like they used to do in the 70s. It makes everything look just a little bit off, like it’s not quite real, but in a good way, if you ask me. Gives it character. It’s like when you watch them old black-and-white movies, and you just know that there’s somethin’ magical about the way they were made. That grainy look, that’s what makes it special. You watch it and you feel like you’re part of somethin’ bigger, like a tribute to those old times.
Of course, not everyone is gonna like that film grain. Some folks might say it looks all blurry and messes with their eyes. But I think it works, adds a little somethin’ extra to the atmosphere. Makes it feel more authentic, like you’re sittin’ there in a theater from way back in the day, watchin’ somethin’ that’s a little bit nostalgic but still fresh. That’s what I think, anyhow.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a movie that’s a bit out of the ordinary, with a mix of mystery, sci-fi, and a whole lotta personality, you might want to give “They Cloned Tyrone” a go. It’s not like your average film, and that’s what makes it stand out. Plus, you’ll get a good laugh here and there, and see some wild things that’ll have you thinkin’ for days. And if you’re into that 70s style, with that old film look, well, you’re in for a treat.
