Well, well, well, if it ain’t the second episode of that show “The Tourist,” ya know, the one with that Jamie Dornan fella. Now, I ain’t no expert, but I reckon there’s a lot goin’ on in this episode. Things sure got real tense, didn’t they?
So, where we left off, the man, that fella they keep callin’ Elliot, and that Helen lady are still on the run. They’re tryin’ to dodge a tough cop who’s hot on their trail. I tell ya, that cop don’t miss a thing, always sniffin’ around like a dog that smells somethin’ fishy. The two of ‘em, Elliot and Luci—yeah, that other lady that’s stickin’ with ‘em—they’re racing all over tryin’ to find that mysterious caller who keeps messin’ with their heads. It’s all a big ol’ mystery, ain’t it?
Now, Elliot, bless his heart, he’s tryin’ real hard to piece together his past. Ain’t no easy task, lemme tell ya. He don’t even remember who he is, and he’s gotta face all these folks who seem to know more about him than he does. Meanwhile, Helen, she’s investigatin’ too. But something’s holdin’ her back, somethin’ real heavy, like a rock in her shoes. She’s makin’ progress, sure, but it’s like she’s stuck in the mud, y’know?
Now, they’re off to Ireland, thinkin’ they might find some answers. But wouldn’t you know it, things don’t go as planned. Elliot gets snatched up, just like that! And now they’re left wonderin’ if that lead they followed was a trap all along. Ain’t that a kick in the teeth? They thought they were closer to the truth, but now they’re just more lost than ever. What’s gonna happen next? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
And let me tell ya, there’s all sorts of folks showin’ up in this show. You got your Niamh Cassidy—Elliot’s mama, can you believe it? She’s fierce, that one. Don’t know if Helen can trust her though. She’s got that look in her eyes like she’s holdin’ back some big ol’ secret. You might’ve seen that actress, Olwen Fou�r�, in some other movies too, like “Mandy” or somethin’. She’s a good one, but I tell ya, she makes you wonder where her loyalties lie.
Now, I reckon a lot of folks are wonderin’ how this season’s gonna end up. Elliot and Helen, they got a lot to work through. They sure had their issues, didn’t they? I remember at the end of the first season, there was a bit of a fallout between ’em. Something about Elliot usin’ women as mules for drugs or somethin’. That ain’t right, no matter how ya look at it. Made Helen real upset. And poor Elliot, he went and tried to take his own life over all that mess. But then, Helen, bless her, she sent him a little emoji, one of those burrito ones, like she was sayin’ everything’s alright between ’em again. Funny how a little emoji can say so much, huh?
But what’s next for these two? They sure got a lot to figure out. They’re livin’ in Amsterdam now, and Elliot’s got this file about his old life, but he’s sittin’ on it. Ain’t openin’ it yet. What’s in that file? What does it mean for ‘em? I reckon we’ll find out in time, but in the meantime, this show keeps throwin’ curveballs, and I’m just hangin’ on to see where it all lands.
In short, Episode 2 of “The Tourist” keeps ya on the edge of your seat, and I reckon it’s only gonna get crazier from here. So if you haven’t started watchin’, I suggest ya get on it. It’s a rollercoaster of mystery, danger, and all sorts of twists and turns that’ll leave ya scratchin’ your head.
