Well now, let me tell you about that Episode 4 of “The Glory.” It all starts off with a bit of a flashback, goes back to 2012, and that’s when things really start to stir up. You see, in this episode, things ain’t looking too good for some of the characters, and they ain’t really what they seem on the surface neither.
So there’s this girl, Yeon-jin, she’s all nervous-like, getting more and more on edge. Why, you ask? Well, she finds out that her daughter’s got a new homeroom teacher. Now, that don’t seem like much, but trust me, it’s bigger than it sounds. See, there’s this whole mess that’s been buried for years, and now it’s all coming back to the surface, like a big ol’ pot of stew you thought was long gone, but now it’s boiling over. And then there’s this sudden death too, a twist that nobody saw coming. It’s like the past just won’t stay dead, keeps popping back up, stirring trouble every chance it gets.
Now, speaking of deaths, there’s this teacher, Kim Jong-mun. He dies from an asthma attack, just like that, sudden as a summer storm. But you see, it ain’t just that he’s gone. There’s a lot more going on with him than just a simple death. Turns out, Dong-eun, she had something to do with it. She’d given him a bouquet of lilies, all sweet-like, pretending it was for his success. But let me tell ya, it wasn’t no congratulatory gesture. It was a way for her to let him know she hadn’t forgotten how he treated her back in high school.
Dong-eun, she’d been through a lot, and now, she wants to make sure the truth comes out. She’d told Soo-han, Jong-mun’s son, that she was gonna expose his daddy’s wrongdoings. But oh boy, things didn’t go as planned. Soo-han, instead of letting his father’s secrets out, well, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He killed his own father, and all because he didn’t want it to mess with his own career. Ain’t that somethin’?
And it don’t stop there. Dong-eun’s gettin’ more information from Jung-mi, the old school nurse. Now, if you think that’s gonna be the end of it, you better think again. The tension in this episode is enough to make your hair stand on end. The past just keeps on haunting them, and it’s like it’ll never let go.
Now, don’t you think it’s all settled down though, ‘cause it ain’t. Things are still up in the air, and if you’ve been watchin’, you can tell there’s more trouble ahead. Dong-eun and Su-ho, they still got their problems, and there’s more fights to come. Ain’t nobody gonna be gettin’ any peace in this show, not with all these secrets floating around like ghosts from the past.
So, to wrap it all up, Episode 4 keeps the tension high, just like the first few. You got old grudges, new troubles, and a lot of people tryin’ to bury things they can’t escape. And believe me, it ain’t over yet. I’m tellin’ you, if you ain’t caught up, you might want to start watchin’, ‘cause it’s only gonna get messier from here.
