And why won’t Helge talk to anybody else? That’s somethin’ we need to figure out, for sure.
Now, while we’re still tryin’ to wrap our heads around Helge’s return, the show takes us back to 1987. Here, we meet Claudia, who’s got herself a time machine! Can you imagine? I’ve seen a lot in my day, but a time machine? That’s some wild stuff right there. Claudia’s up to something big, though. She’s travelin’ back and forth in time, and I reckon she’s got some plan she’s workin’ on. What exactly it is, well, that’s still unclear, but it’s sure got my curiosity piqued!
Now, if you remember the first season, you know the whole town’s got more secrets than a chicken coop in the middle of the night. Families like the Kahnwalds, Nielsen, Doppler, and Tiedemann, they’re all tangled up in things no one could’ve ever imagined. And when you throw time travel into the mix, it just makes everything worse. This whole time-loop business—it’s enough to make your head spin faster than a tornado in the fall.
But it ain’t just the adults who are in a mess. Oh no, the kids are involved too! You’ve got Martha and Jonas—they’re doin’ their thing, tryin’ to figure out what’s goin’ on with their future. They even make their way to 2052. Can you imagine what the world looks like in that year? It ain’t pretty, lemme tell ya that. But Martha and Jonas, they’re out there, lookin’ for answers, and it seems like they’re in a real pickle, especially with all this time travel goin’ on.
Back in 1954, a couple more folks go missin’. That’s just a regular Tuesday in this town, I guess. Folks vanishing like that, without a trace, it makes you wonder if anyone’s safe, no matter when they are—whether it’s 1954, 1987, or even 2052. There’s somethin’ eerie goin’ on with all these disappearances, and you just know it’s all tied together somehow.
And then, there’s Hannah, who gets some news that shocks her to the core. Now, if you’ve been watchin’, you know she’s been through a lot, and things just keep gettin’ more complicated. She’s always gettin’ caught up in all this mess, and now it looks like it’s her turn for a big revelation. Just when you think things might settle down, they sure don’t!
As the episode rolls on, Jonas starts to get real suspicious about Eva’s motives. If you’re askin’ yourself who Eva is, well, she’s a key player in all this. But just like everyone else in this show, she’s got secrets of her own. And Jonas, well, he’s startin’ to put two and two together. But is he gettin’ closer to the truth, or is he just diggin’ a deeper hole for himself? Time will tell, I suppose.
One thing’s for sure, though: This show ain’t gettin’ any easier to understand! Every time I think I got a handle on things, they throw somethin’ new at me. But that’s the fun of it, ain’t it? So many twists and turns, it’s like tryin’ to follow a chicken on the run. You never know where it’s gonna go next. But don’t you worry, by the time we get to the end, we’ll have all the answers… or at least, I hope so!
